Conrad Mewse gave up his series lead in the 2019 Maxxis British Championship, when he fell in the second moto at Canada Heights and immediately exited the racetrack in need of medical attention. Updates are sparse currently, of course, as the incident only occurred a couple of hours ago, but the Hitachi KTM fuelled by Milwaukee squad posted the following information on social media.

"After gating P2 behind [Alvin] Ostlund, Conrad got taken out in turn two by another rider. Bas Vaessen had also made a good start but could not avoid his teammate who had been taken out. Conrad was forced to retire and went directly to hospital for assessment on his right wrist. Bas remounted but was way back and failed to gain any Championship points."

Updates on Conrad Mewse will be added to this page in due course, so check back regularly. Mewse ended eighth overall at Canada Heights, despite the fact that he did not score points in the second outing.
